Introducing the Arc Stores
The Arc Store is a thrift store that focuses on selling gently used goods. The donations of clothes and money stay locally to help fund The Arc of Butte County. The Arc Store became a client of ours at Half a Bubble Out in 2010 and began implementing an inbound marketing strategy in 2012.
Inbound Marketing Agency Work
In this blog, we want to showcase how a business can attract, convert, close and delight leads. For the Arc Store, we decided to offer a coupon to not only entice people to become customers and go into a brick and mortar store, but also to capture leads. We can later email those leads to nurture those customers to go back to the Arc Store and buy again.
What does this process of downloading a coupon look like? A website visitor clicks on the coupon call-to-action (CTA), fills out the form on the landing page by submitting their name and email, and then has access to download the coupon to use at the store. The most current coupon that we're offering for the Arc Store is for Fall 2015. This coupon has been live for less than a month, and it's been successful using a specific sales funnel.
We have seen a 10% conversion rate from visitors who view the CTA and then click on the CTA. From there, we've seen a 50% conversion rate from clicking the CTA to submission rates - meaning the website visitor filled out the form on the landing page to receive the coupon. These are amazing conversion rates for a CTA that has been live for less than 30 days. These are all statistics that we're able to track, analyze and monitor using HubSpot software.
Understanding Why This Matters
When an inbound marketing agency is claiming that it can attract, convert, close and delight your customers, it's great to have evidence to back up the statement. With the Arc Store example above, we were able to attract people to the Arc Store website, convert them into a lead when they fill out the form to get the coupon, close them as a customer when they use the coupon at the store, as well as continue to delight them when they receive another coupon in their inbox. Inbound marketing is a great way to be helpful to your potential and current customers.
