HubSpot CRMIf you are looking for software that can help market your business and can be as complex as you need it to be but as simple as ever, HubSpot is your jam. As if it wasn't already awesome enough, HubSpot announced Tuesday at the annual Inbound Marketing conference that it has created a sales tool within the software.

Are you done screaming in excitement? Ok, good. Keep reading!

Why the new HubSpot CRM tool is awesome

While we may not always see the direct correlation, sales and marketing go hand in hand. Come on, we’ve all heard of that cool word—smarketing. Got to love it! HubSpot is now making this pairing even more seamless.

Here’s an inside look at the software’s features:

Database: The CRM automatically collects and stores data about contacts, companies, deals and tasks. It also creates company records, associates contacts, de-duplicates leads and takes care of all the little details that you don’t have time to be worrying about.

Timeline: Today’s sales process tends to be all over the place. Let’s face it, it’s easy to get unorganized and forget about things. The timeline feature organizes everything you could ever want organized; emails, calls, notes, website visits, reminders, etc.

Email: HubSpot’s CRM tool conveniently connects to Gmail, Google Apps, Outlook and Apple Mail. This makes it easy for your contacts' emails to automatically be accounted for within the tool, leaving a record and keeping them organized. When following up with a lead there will never be a need to login to your email again.

Sales Dashboard: Track your sales and quotas within the tool. You’ll always have a grasp on where you are with your leads for the day, week, and month with the deal forecast. Super cool!

Phone Integration (additional cost): Calling your leads is easier than ever. You can make calls directly through the CRM tool and can even log notes and record the audio.

Google Calendar Integration: No need to switch tabs to view your Google calendar ever again. Just stay within the CRM tool! You can check your scheduled meetings and create new ones in seconds without ever leaving the software.

Data Enrichment: This feature allows you to see information about any contact or company. Information that will be shown includes details on key employees in that company, social media data, related companies, competitors, etc. This tool just cut your research time in half! Boom!

How will the CRM improve day-to-day selling for sales reps?

The CRM tool will help to make the sales job easier. It’s designed so that everything is in one spot, your HubSpot console, which will increase the effectiveness and efficiency of your sales team. Say goodbye to the days of looking through your sent folder for emails and manually organizing your potential lead connections. The CRM does this for you, with ease.

"Traditional sales technology is necessary but not sufficient. HubSpot's Sales Platform is designed to arm sales teams with the context they need to improve how they engage with companies, prospects, and leads to drive sales instead of driving people crazy," HubSpot CEO Brian Halligan said.

HubSpot’s CRM tool will allow a sales rep to close deals better and faster. If you’re looking for a way to market your small business and have your sales and marketing align seamlessly, you need to check out HubSpot and it’s new CRM tool.
