My inbox this morning, however, got quite a treat. Apparently JetBlue is trying to clean up its email database so it only includes people who really want the emails, and below is the email they sent.
The Subject Line was “Breaking up is hard to do” which is what caused me to pause and read it to begin with, but then came the true gem: the creative writing and simple but elegant graphics that accompanied the plea for my business. I just have to share it with you:
So congratulations to JetBlue today for this email marketing campaign. It has all the elements of a great campaign:
They get my business today and I look forward to what they will send me in the future, even though they have lots of baggage and their heads are in the clouds!
