GET THE LEADERSHIP GROWTH SCORECARD

Greetings and Salutations

July 12, 2008 / by Michael K. Redman

Welcome to the new Blog of me, Michael Redman.

This Blog is an unfolding process of thoughts and ideas that are worked out in my personal, professional and spiritual world. IE: They are the rantings of a mad man who enjoys ranting. These three segments are the way I have chosen, up to this point, to describe the three key areas of my life, which is also my laboratory. They are not easily separated, divided or easily articulated but these titles give me handles to form my thoughts.

Through the thoughts in these entries and the comments of you the reader I intend to continue to explore the different ideas that seem significant, inspiring and even funny to myself and those around me.

As a matter of context you should know that I am a person that processes out loud and in community. My ideas are spurred on by my wife, daughter, friends and fellow sojourners.

I love movies, mass media, good quotes, laughter that comes from the gut and honesty that is tempered with kindness. I love my wife, my daughter, my Job and I love my Jesus, who I am learning more about how much he loves me. I Love to live large, dare much and find myself holding a pint of HAND PUMPED Beer when ever possible.

Please comment on my thoughts. It is through dialouge that I learn more and have grown in the past.

So, here are the basic rules, because I love to have clear expectations.

  • Comment on anything I have written.

  • Spelling is not important here and will not be graded, because I am a poor speller even with spell check.

  • Be kind but honest.

  • Be real but clean, my daughter and my mother may both read this someday.

  • Realize that I write and think in spurts so I may not write for a spell nor comment on your comments.

  • Rewrite what you hear, when appropriate, so I know I'm understood.

Most of all thank you for coming to my Blog and helping me think. The fact that you are interested at all and take the time to read and comment is a true honor to me.

Shalom Agape,

Michael
